What is the cancellation policy?

If you change your mind and no longer wish to go ahead with your appointment, this is not a problem. However, appointments must be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

If you change your appointment from a clinic appointment to a home visit, this may incur additional travel fees depending on your location.

Benefits / low income

please discuss with Emma if you are in receipt of benefits and would struggle to pay for the service. Emma is committed to ensure that all babies have access to treatment when it is needed.

How does Emma Preece handle patient confidentiality?

All patient information is kept strictly confidential in line with healthcare regulations. Happy tongues is registered with the ICO (Data protection registration)

All emails will be deleted once treatment is complete and information transferred onto paper format which will be locked in a secure cabinet and stored for 5 years. In the event of a safeguarding concern information may be shared with the local safeguarding board and/or police. Emma Preece the individual provider will uphold the general data protection regulations ensuring records adhere to 7 key principles; Lawfulness, Fairness, and Transparency, Purpose Limitation, Integrity and Confidentiality, and Accountability.

How can I submit a complaint about my treatment?

Complaints can be submitted via phone or email and will be addressed promptly and respectfully and empathetically. Complaints must detail as much as possible the facts that have led to the dissatisfaction of the complainant.
